Locks of Love: 288,176 Ponytails Donated

Thanks to the dedication of our member salons and their incredible clients, we’ve reached an extraordinary milestone: over 288,176 ponytails donated to create wigs for those experiencing hair loss. Every ponytail represents more than just hair—it’s a gift of confidence, hope, and care. Whether it’s for individuals undergoing cancer treatment or living with alopecia, these wigs provide a powerful sense of self and empowerment to those who need it most. Your contributions truly make a difference, one ponytail at a time.

This impact wouldn’t be possible without the collective effort of our Sustainable Salons community and the broader industry. A standout hair donation was from Madeleine Snook, who chopped off a whopping 150cm ponytail! Not only did she come super close to breaking the Guinness World record, but also managed to raise a very impressive $5104 for blood cancer research.

Every salon collecting and donating ponytails plays a crucial role in this journey of care and kindness.
