We’re thrilled to welcome Eco Foils to the Sustainable Salons Store — an innovation born at the basin, crafted with care, and backed by a mission we can all stand behind.
But Eco Foils isn’t just another salon product. It’s the result of one stylist’s journey to create a better, safer, and more sustainable way of working behind the chair.

Meet the Maker: Tenille, Founder and Sustainable Salons Member
Tenille, founder of Eco Foils and a proud Sustainable Salons member, didn’t set out to start a brand. She simply wanted to make salon life more sustainable, efficient and thoughtful. And as a colour educator, salon owner and stylist, she knew exactly what was missing. So she created it.
She reimagined what it meant to run a low-tox, conscious salon, starting with her own. That spark became Little Birdie Hair Co, now four thriving sustainable salons in Southeast Queensland. But Tenille didn’t stop there. She kept asking: What else can we do better?
And Eco Foils was the answer.
Why Eco Foils Are Different
Eco Foils are 100% recycled, recyclable, and made to perform. Tenille designed them not as a manufacturer or marketer, but as a stylist who understood every foil fold, every tray refill, and every shift on her feet.
From the texture and grip to the closed-loop recyclability, these foils were made with real-world salons in mind. Because no one knows what you need behind the chair like someone who’s been there too.
Sustainable? Absolutely.
Functional? You bet.
Game-changing? We think so.
