About Sustainable Salons
Welcome to Sustainable Salons – we’re a fast-growing, technology powered social enterprise that is making sustainability reality for the Feel Good Industry: hair and beauty salons, barbers, dermal clinics and pet groomers. Our work supports People of all abilities while helping the Planet and creating a greener Profit for our members.
We do this by rescuing up to 95% of salon resources from landfill and donating 100% of proceeds from the sale of these materials to local communities and charities. Our products help clean up oil spills, make medical wigs for people with alopecia, help people with disabilities get real jobs, and reduce the use of mined aluminium by creating Australia’s first recycled and recyclable aluminium foil for the salon industry.
Our Founders
Our founders, Paul Frasca and Ewelina Soroko, are at the forefront of profit-for-purpose sustainability. They’re constantly innovating in the fields of product, social and environmental justice. Paul is the ideas man – specifically big, hairy ideas. He appears regularly on TV, radio, podcasts, interviews and as a keynote speaker across industries. Ewelina is a razor sharp captain who knows how to make big, hairy ideas reality while making sure everyone wins along the way. She’s been celebrated by Harper’s Bazaar for her work in salon sustainability.
