Cancer Council Ponytail Project brings together thousands of extraordinary Australians. These heroes will stand in solidarity with others battling a cancer diagnosis by shaving, cutting or colouring their hair to raise vital funds.

Raising funds to defeat cancer is a tough gig. By the time fundraisers have actually shaved or chopped off their mane, they’ll have invested a tonne of time and leg work to bring in much needed funds. And afterwards, they’re usually left with a few loose ends to tidy up. That’s where you come in….

We are offering Cancer Council Ponytail Project fundraisers who shave or donate their ponytails, a one off $25 post chop style cut across all participating Sustainable Salons. Our salon members (you!) are automatically included in this offer.

You book the Cancer Council Ponytail Project fundraiser in on a day/time that suits your salon, and with a stylist of your choice.

Step 3

You ask to see their fundraising page for confirmation that they are an official Cancer Council Ponytail Project fundraiser.

Step 4

The fundraiser arrives for the appointment, has a mind-blowing hair service and returns forevermore as a die-hard client of your salon*

You can choose to schedule as many or as little fundraiser style cuts as you like – whatever works best for your business structure.

No, the offer communicated to fundraisers is for a shampoo, style-cut and blow-dry only.

Any additional services such as colour or treatments are priced separately at the salon’s discretion.

Yes, salons must advertise the price as no more than $25 including GST.

Yes, credit card surcharges are implemented separately at the salon’s discretion.

Yes, the Sustainable Salons Fee is added separately to the final service bill, as per a normal transaction at a Sustainable Salon.

• Prices may change depending on salon but the offer will be a maximum of $25 including GST (excludes credit surcharges and the Sustainable Salons Fee).
